About the trainer.
Tom Vince has over 15 years across media, content and communications. He was Creative Director and Head of Video at Archant, where he led large content teams and trained staff across the organisation in mobile and digital storytelling, and Senior Producer at Mustard TV, producing editorial and commercial video for broadcast.
He's led video and storytelling work for Royal London, Bentley Motors, Anglian Water, the University of York and Norfolk County Council.
He has trained teams at every level, from people who've never shot anything to senior marketing professionals. The sessions are hands-on, supportive and practical, and built to leave people genuinely able to do the work, not just inspired by it.

What's in a session?
One full day, in person, at your place, built around your team and your goals. Up to 12 in a group at a time so everyone gets hands-on. And your team will get a mobile video starter kit (tripod, mic, light) so they can start the moment you finish.
You also get a simple repeatable planning framework, content formats and story ideas your team can use straight away, guidance on the right platforms and styles for your audience, a certificate of completion for every participant, and post-session support for follow-up questions and feedback.

Phones out and everyone involved from early on. We show the small changes that make a big visible difference: how to film talking heads, B-roll and action, framing and shot selection, and making the most of natural light, space and sound.

How to cut a story with simple tools and a clear structure. What to trim, what to keep, how to work with music, text and pacing, and how to make video feel sharp rather than bloated.

Support after the session
We don't disappear when the day ends. Questions, feedback on your first few videos, a reminder of something we covered, we're there while the confidence builds.

The session is £347 + VAT per person, with a minimum of six people per day. So a whole team trained costs roughly what you'd pay for one outsourced video, except the capability stays with you and keeps paying back every time they pick up a phone. We keep the pricing clear and honest, with no padding and no surprises.
