Design that works with everything else you make.
Most of our design work starts because a client already has film or photography from us and needs the rest to match, so it might be a brochure that uses the stills from the shoot, or a proposal template that carries the same look as the brand film, or an exhibition stand that doesn't look like it came from somewhere else entirely. That's the easiest version of design to get right, because we already know the business and the material.

We also take design on by itself, for clients who have never put a camera in front of us. Lee heads up design here and has been doing it a long time, and the work runs from a full brand identity down to a single document that needed making properly.

What our design clients have in common is wanting the work to earn its place, whether that's explaining something or simply making a business look like itself.
What we design.
Most of what we shoot falls into a handful of types. If you're not sure which one you need, that's fine. We'll work it out together on the first call.

Brand identity
Logos, colour, type and the rules that hold it together, handed over as something your team can actually use rather than a PDF nobody opens. We did our own identity, and we have done it for clients who needed a look that would still be working in five years.

Brochures and print
Corporate brochures, product literature, programmes and packs. We handle layout, artwork and print-ready files, and we'll deal with your printer so you don't have to.

Proposal and document templates
The documents your business sends out every week, built once and built properly, so your team can fill them in without breaking the design. It is usually the quickest way to make an organisation look more professional than it did last month.

Exhibition and event graphics
Roller banners, stands, signage and the graphics that go around a launch or a show. Deadlines here are real, so we plan backwards from the install date rather than the design one.
How we work.
A design project should feel manageable from day one. Here is roughly how it goes.
1
A proper conversation
We start with a call to understand what the piece is for, who it's aimed at, where it needs to live and when you need it by. We ask specific questions rather than running through a list.
2
A clear plan and quote
You get a written proposal covering approach, deliverables, timeline and a fixed cost.
3
Gathering what's already there
Existing brand assets, copy, photography and print specifications. We'd rather build on what you've got than start again for the sake of it.
4
First concepts
Usually two or three directions rather than a single take it or leave it, because seeing the options is how most people work out what they actually want.
5
Refining
Usually two or three rounds, plus a little fine tuning. We do not put a limit on it, but a job that needs far more than that means we misread the brief, and that is ours to fix.
6
Artwork and delivery
Print-ready files, working files, and the formats you need for web and social. If it's going to print we'll check the specification with your printer before it goes.
7
Aftercare
The artwork is yours, and we'll keep helping you get more out of it.

Why teams come back to Revel.
We're incredibly proud to have so many clients come back to us for design. We look after everybody on a job, clients, interviewees and members of the public alike, and it's a big part of why most of our clients come back.
It matches everything else you have.
Because we often shoot the film and take the photographs too, the design doesn't sit awkwardly next to them.
We build things your team can use.
Templates, files and assets come set up so your own people can get on with it.
We're straight about cost and time.
You get a fixed cost in writing before we start, so the invoice at the end is the number you already agreed.
We're local, and we travel.
Based just outside Norwich, with regular work across East Anglia, London and the rest of the UK.
